An
insight into Jacqui Whyte:
I finished school
in Johannesburg after which time I spent
a year as an exchange student in Chile,
South America, where I learnt to speak
fluent Spanish. It was during this year
as I traveled through the picturesque
towns of southern Chile that I first
discovered my real love of photography.
Upon my return I obtained my BA degree
at Wits University and then followed my
second artistic passion playing keyboard
in a band in Cape Town and Johannesburg
for 5 years.
I started
working concurrently with an
international non-profit
organization, AFS, and eventually
held the position of National
Director of AFS Interculture South
Africa .
The travel
involved in this position gave me
the opportunity to photograph many
beautiful parts of the world and
during this time I obtained a
Diploma in Photography.
Upon leaving AFS I
turned my hobby into a full-time
photography career and today I run a
successful photographic business.
Working with people
is an integral part of my work. I am
friendly, open, fun and relaxed
putting my clients at ease but a
perfectionist when it comes to
customer service and the quality of
my photographs.

Getting to know Amanda:
I have
always enjoyed creative work and on
finishing school decided to study
Graphic Design. After obtaining my
diploma I then completed a one year
full-time photography course at the
National College of Photography. I
love both fields and find that they
compliment each other well. I have
been working as a full-time
photographer for the past 4 years
and during this time have acquired
extensive experience in corporate,
wedding and studio photography. Like
Jacqui I have a natural, relaxed
style and I love working with
people.
